I travelled up to Vancouver to meet up with an old and dear friend from my school girl days in South Africa. We’ve only seen each other a handful of times over the last 20 years but it was great to pick back up as if no time had elapsed at all. We shared laughter, many cups of coffee and fond memories from a childhood passed; all while exploring a gorgeous city. We live on opposite ends of the globe and our lives could not be more different but we have kept the common bond that brought us together as friends in the first place. It’s also great to see the evolvement taking place through the passage of time. Our lives becoming richer with meaning and understanding. Makes me think that we really do grow better/wiser with age. Looking forward to the next big adventure my friend!
